Your Right to Data Deletion
At Scratchpost, we respect your privacy and your right to have your personal data deleted. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data from our waitlist.
What Data We Collect
As a startup in our pre-launch phase, we are currently collecting only the following information:
- Email address - Required for waitlist signup and product launch notifications
That's it. We keep it simple and only collect what we need to manage our waitlist and notify you when our product launches.
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your email address from our waitlist, please contact us at:

Please include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line and provide the email address you used to sign up for the waitlist.
When Deletion Will Occur
Important: As a startup preparing for product launch, we want to be transparent about our data deletion process:
Waitlist Deletion at Launch
The entire waitlist will be deleted at product launch. At that time, all email addresses collected during the waitlist phase will be permanently removed from our systems.
If you request deletion before launch, we will remove your email address from the waitlist within 30 days of your request. However, please note that the entire waitlist will be deleted at launch regardless.
What Happens After Deletion
Once your data is deleted:
- Your email address will be removed from our waitlist
- You will no longer receive waitlist-related communications
- Your data will be permanently deleted from our systems
- You can always sign up again in the future if you change your mind
Response Time
We will acknowledge your deletion request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of your request, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
